Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, home to one of the most conservative cultures on earth. Despite public photography being somewhat difficult, over time I will be attempting to highlight some images illustrating some of the main characteristics and features of this unique city. However it is no accident there are limited people shots on this gallery!

This gallery is a project in progress and will be building it up gradually so be sure to return!

HIM2 > Another shot of al Faisaliyyah Tower, Riyadh... moments before sunset.
HIM2 > Al Faisaliyyah Tower, Riyadh .... another exceptionally designed award winning piece of architecture by the reknowned British architect Norman Foster ... the globe at the top of the tower (below the spire) contains a gourmet restaurant and cigar lounge.... the medium rise building on the left is one of the best hotels in town.
HIM2 > An interior shot of Al Faisaliyyah tower ... a crisp, cool and sophisticated contemporary interior in keeping with the design of the tower... the panoramic elevator shaft (center right) is glass on both sides; an unobtrusive design that doesn't interrupt the flow of space.
HIM2 > King Khaled International Airport, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ... built in the early 80s to a design by the American firm of HOK ... it is said that the spectacular roof design was inspired by the indigenous palm tree.
